weeks without water, to see our businesses suffer, our elderly struggle, and our

children forced to live in conditions no American city should ever experience.

This crisis was not just about broken pipes—it was about broken trust. And now, as

Jackson nears the moment when our water system will be returned to local control, we

must demand leadership that knows how to protect it. 

For too long, politicians have made promises they can’t keep because they don’t

understand how the system works. But I do. I have engineered and managed water

systems far larger than Jackson’s. I know what went wrong, and I know exactly how

to fix it.

This is our water, our future, and our responsibility. It is time to reclaim it, rebuild it,

and restore the trust that has been lost.

✅ Implement a citizen oversight committee that holds leadership accountable for

maintaining clean, safe, and reliable water.

✅ I have experience in securing state and federal funding guarantees that remain

under local control, ensuring Jackson—not outsiders—determines our water future.

✅Create an Internship Plan and Partnership. The water plant should have a

partnership with local colleges and Jackson State University in order to provide

experience to our youth. We got to develop our people to sustain our community.

Jackson’s people deserve to live without fear. Crime is not just about numbers—it’s

about shattered families, lost dreams, and a city held back from its true potential. We

cannot afford another ordinary plan that merely scratches the surface. We need a

movement—a transformation that reaches the very soul of our community.

Rewarding the Officers Who Make a Difference

A stronger police force means safer streets. To attract and retain top talent, my plan is

to recommend:

✅ Incentives for crime reduction and community engagement efforts.

✅ Provide retention incentives to keep experienced officers in Jackson.

✅ Require officers to engage in neighborhood service, ensuring they invest in the

city they protect.

Good officers deserve more than a paycheck—they deserve respect, stability, and

support.

Every bump, every pothole, every malfunctioning traffic light is more than an

inconvenience—it’s a symbol of neglect. It’s a daily punishment for the hardworking

people of Jackson who simply want to get to work, take their children to school, and

worship without fear of damaging their vehicles or risking their lives.

I have a passionate and results-driven plan to address the abandoned home crisis in

Jackson, turning a problem into an opportunity for revitalization:

Abandoned homes are more than just an eyesore—they are a symbol of loss, a

breeding ground for crime, and a roadblock to progress. Each empty house tells a

story of a family that left, a business that closed, or a neighborhood that once thrived

but is now struggling.

This is not just about property values—this is about restoring hope, rebuilding

communities, and making Jackson a place where families want to stay.

The solution isn’t just tearing down what’s broken. We must have a plan to rebuild,

reinvest, and reclaim our neighborhoods for the people.

✅ Small Business Demolition Contracts – Instead of relying on expensive outside

firms, we will create a city-backed contract program for local small businesses to

demolish abandoned properties, keeping jobs and money in Jackson.

✅ Business Incubators for Small Startups – Convert abandoned commercial spaces

into affordable workspaces for entrepreneurs, creating new businesses and jobs right

in our neighborhoods.

✅ Corporate Partnerships for Parks & Recreation – Work with corporations and

nonprofits to fund greenspaces, playgrounds, and community gardens where

abandoned homes once stood.

✅ Down Payment Assistance for First-Time Homebuyers – Help Jackson residents

buy and renovate homes instead of leaving the city.
